The preservation of electronic signatures

Abstract

The article analyzes methods, technical rules, electronic devices and information systems used in Italy to generate electronic signatures. The aim is to define the information objects, represented by reports, descriptions, metadata and bitstream, to preserve with digital records to permit the valuation of their legal value at the moment of production and in future.
