As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines:
 

Paper is written in accordance with the Authors guidelines.

Paper is uploaded in one of the following formats: DOC, DOCX, RTF.

The manuscript is anonymous: name, affiliation and email address of each author are put in the metadata and not in the text or the file properties.

A 150-word English abstract, the English translation of title and five English keywords are provided.

✅ The article does not exceed the set length of 65,000 characters (including abstract, keywords, spaces, figures, tables, and bibliography).

Authors allow minor editorial changes to the text and metadata of their paper.

The submission has not been previously published nor sent to another review (it is possible to provide an explanation to the editor within the comments). The following will not be considered: articles deposited in public repositories before acceptance for publication (e.g. https://arxiv.org/).

Manuscripts are subjected to a plagiarism check using the Compilatio software before commencing the editoral review process. 

 

Authors guidelines 

AIDAinformazioni accepts submissions for each section of the journal. Authors are kindly required to choose the most suitable section for their submission and follow the rules indicated for each section and the submission guidelines.

AIDAinformazioni  welcomes papers in  Italian, English and French.

Manuscripts must not exceed the set length of 65,000 characters (including abstract, keywords, spaces, figures, tables, and references) and are submitted to the judgement of anonymous experts. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make small formal changes to the text.

Only those papers that respect the editorial guidelines will be considered for acceptance. It is the author's responsibility to ensure that their paper does not contain any errors.

Articles must be accompanied by a 150-word abstract in English, and by 5 Keywords in English.

 

Section policies

Editorial

The opening section is reserved for short reflections and alternatively it may serve as an introduction to special issues. These articles do not undergo a peer review process.

Articles

This section includes innovative research articles relevant to the fields of Documentation Science, Archival Science, Information and Communication Sciences, Library and Information Sciences, Knowledge Organization and Management, Terminology, Statistical text analysis, Computational Linguistics. These articles undergo a double blind peer review process.

Columns

This section is dedicated to debates and discussion on various issues: short articles and threads that can be developed in subsequent issues. This section also welcomes occasional conference reports and book reviews. These articles do not undergo a peer review process.

 

Copyright Notice

Before publication and after the acceptance of the manuscript, authors will sign a Publication Agreement with Cacucci Editore. Authors will transfer publication rights to the publishing house and authorise the publishing house to process their personal data. The authors retain all other rights to the original work without any restrictions.
